Thomas P. Schiller is a partner at Pearne & Gordon LLP. He has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the metallurgical, medical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical arts, trademark applications, and copyright applications. He has handled various intellectual property disputes, including trademark opposition proceedings, patent and trademark litigation, and copyright disputes. Additionally, he has rendered infringement, patentability, and validity opinions and has experience in drafting and negotiating various business agreements and documents including license, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements and Internet-related agreements.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Thomas was a patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Thomas is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the International Trademark Association.
